Doc and GUI strings code freeze

Hi,

We're near the final 1.5 release, which means that we need to start
finishing the GUI in doc translations as well. Will there be an
announcement about the strings code freeze? I translate the docs "one
.pot entry at the time", which makes the quality of translation as a
whole not so great. I intend to go through the documentation, correct
mistakes and make sure sentences following each other make sense and
sound OK. This will take some time, so I'd like to start as soon as
the original docs are completed.

So it would be great if we were notified when the documentation is
almost finished. Plus it might be a signal to those translators that
haven't updated their translations for some time now that it's time to
start catching up.
