You could create a new icon set (don't forget the new icons for
'unversioned' and 'ignored'). I removed the old XPStyle icons because it
didn't have those two new icons, and I already had to change the other
icons to get 256x256 sized png icons for Vista.
But I can't see your problem: Even though I'm using Vista here, I also
use XP in my office. And I always have explorer set to 'detailed view',
which means I'm always using the small icons - they look just fine to me.
