Hmm - right. That would be *very* bad.
But there are commits from SF with changes to the VS2008 project files??

Stefan^2, maybe you can just revert the revisions 12156 and 12170 in
your local working copy? That would make it compile with VS2005 again,
but still leave the Vista icons intact for the rest of us.

Or (more work to do): create separate resource files and separate icons
to be used with VS2005 than with VS2008.
Or (never tried): the SDK also has a resource compiler included. Maybe
there's a way to make VS2005 use the one which ships with the SDK?
