right-click, "Export" or do you right-drag the directory to the target

two separate exports means two separate TortoiseProc processes. Since
neither process knows anything about the other, this is *highly*
unlikely the reason that the export also copes the .svn dirs.

Do you have more information about this which might help us figuring out
what's going on?
