Explorer restarts often on Vista

Hi everybody!

I installed v. 1.4.6.11647 over a previous installation of TortoiseSVN
(1.4.5.10425) on Windows Vista 32 bit ITA Ultimate Edition.

Since I updated my installation, Explorer started to crash about once/twice
per hour as in a previous issue on v. 1.4.3 resolved by Stefan. Explorer stops
and the O.S. shows the classic dialog (find a solution on internet, restart
the application, debug the application).

Also, I noticed that the green progress bar that appears behind the address
bar in the Explorer window forwards very slowly.
