Tried multiple sessions with r11373 and indeed the problem seems to be gone.

A few (minor) unrelated observations:

- The TSVNCache debug window no longer opens when double-clicking on the
tray icon.

- I was using the recently removed "classic" icon overlays. The installer
removed those but apparently did not reset the active icon set. As a result,
the icon overlays were not visible until I explicitly changed the active
icon set.
