I guess I was already thinking about the file size, when I wrote down the number of files. Should read 500-800 files. This WC has 2.6GB in total.

I want one of those pls :)

Basically I'm observing the same behaviour as Josef, who as started a thread on the user list. The WC crawl slows down my laptop considerably, almost into the state of being unusable.
