That would be possible. But I would recommend you wait until TSVN 1.5 is
released, because by then I'll also provide statically linked versions
of TortoiseMerge and TortoiseIDiff (those won't need any dll's to work).

I'm not sure I will provide a separate installer for the compare tools.
The static builds are standalone and work without installing.
But you can of course automatically configure your application to use
those tools if they're installed on the system.

About downloading the tools automatically from your own installer, I'm
not sure the GPL allows that - but I'm not a lawyer. Let's just say that
you would be in a slightly grey area here and you might get some angry
mails from users (in my experience, some users get really angry when
they discover a GPL application in a commercial application).

What kind of commercial application are you talking about here? Do you
have a link so we can check it out?
