Hi Stefan!

Adding arbitrary (key, text value) pairs to the cache is no problem at
all.
Since I am on vacation this week, I plan to finish the log cache work
until
next weekend. Just a number of loose ends left to pick up ...

Although most stuff should "just work", there may be problems due to the
sheer
amount of code that has been added / modified. Do you want me to give a
24-hour
pre-warning before merging everything into /trunk?
