This issue is known. Stefan Fuhrmann is planning to provide a method to
update the cache. As soon as this is implemented the log dialog can use it.

I just fixed a bug in revision 10763 which initialized the columns with the
wrong size.
Please delete the following registry key to reset it to the original values:
HKCU\Software\TortoiseSVN\RepoBrowserColumnWidth
