I guess it is independent of the peoperty but it depends on the actual
width of the property help text. The svn:externals text just happens
to be the widest one.

Vmware is a nice product for tests like this. In the latest version,
it supports multiple monitor configurations for the virtual guests,
evejn if the host only has one screen. Unfortunately, it is a
commercial product.

I'll try tomorrow in the office if this also happens with the other tooltips.
