I know it's the posessive form and tried to add "TortoiseSVN's" to the
common word list. It seems Aspell doesn't like the apostrophe inside a word
list term. Maybe the apostrophe has to be escaped somehow.

Maybe not a bad idea. Apostrophe's start creeping into German's word's. You
can find apostrophe's in every possible or impossible's word's end's's ;)

Thanks. And if you identify common (not to translate) terms, add them to
TortoiseSVN.tmpl.pws and not to en.pws. I already added quite a few, but
there are at least two dozen more.
