All the problem I reported have something to do with the localization. When
I switch TortoiseSVN to english, the alpha slider gets painted and works,
the tooltips are displayed correctly and the alpha toggle button works.
Switch back to German -> broken...

I have also noticed, that sometimes, the image in the right pane gets scaled
down, painted and is erased immediately after being painted. This only
happens when IDiff starts. Rescaling the IDiff window or toggling the
display mode fixes the problem. It's not 100% reproducible and seems to
depend on the original size of the IDiff window.

In overlay mode the caption hint text and the image info are missing the
zoom factor for the second image.

Possible improvement to save space (lines) for the ovelay mode hint & image
info. Display the image info side by side, like:

File size: 45 / 43 kBytes
Width: 731 / 888 pixel
...

How about that? It would save half of the lines.
