The button is always disabled in the current nightly.

I also have a suggestion for the wording:
Change "Commit log messages" to "Log messages (Input dialog)" and "Log Data"
to "Log messages (Show log)". The current phrases don't really tell me where
the cached data is used / will be deleted.

If you agree, I'll change the captions myself.
