Error on tortoisesvn when behind a proxy

Dear developers,

I upgraded tortoisesvn to version 1.4.3 build 8645 and since this update I
cannot commit or retrieve files from the repository when I'm behind a proxy.
The subversion server is using version 1.4.3 (r. 23084).
The tortoise svn is installed in a DELL d510 laptop running Windows XP SP2.

When I'm using the tortoise behind a proxy, the window that shows the
progress of the operation gets crazy, and accumulate the bytes transferred
and the speed of the connection. If I let it run for a while it says that
Tortoise has transfered some megabytes at hundreds of megabytes speed.

Any ideas?
