I should have read more carefully before you changed that, Stefan.
That dialog also allows you to select files for locking. So maybe a
better hint is:

"Shows a dialog allowing you to select the files to lock and enter a
descriptive message whenever you request locking"

And a capital letter at the start of the sentence ...
