RE: "Compare with working copy" won't use external differ viewer

Hi Dylan,

Now I get server timeouts when I try to look at the screenshots.
Since all your colleagues have the problem and nobody else on the world has
it, I think that there must be a configuration problem specific to your
company.

- I don't know how and where exactly TortoiseSVN stores the diff viewer
settings in the registry (HKCU,HKLM), but is it possible that you and your
colleagues have permission problems reading/writing registry settings? Could
you try to change the settings with admin or power user privileges and see
if it works then? Maybe TSVN is not doing the right thing with restricted
users?

- Could you try to configure a different diff tool than araxis merge?
"notepad.exe %mine" would be enough for a start.
