I see your point.
For me it's more common to for the time being stop working on
(needs-lock) files that I revert. Either because it was some kind of
test that I have concluded or because it was a mistake to start working
on it in the first place. But I realise this might not hold for
everyone.
(General rant: Providing easy and logical places to unlock files that
are not being worked on any more (like in the commit-dialog) is needed
to provide a smooth workflow when working with files that needs lock.
Forgetting to unlock a not used file, while absolutely not critical in
any way, tarnishes the whole SVN experience for other users in the same
project.)
How about adding a checkbox to the revert dialog that (after a performed
revert) opens the (not yet existing) unlock-dialog with the same files
as selected in the revert dialog pre-selected?
