"SVN Author" explorer column not always available

Hello all,

I have an issue to report that has been mentioned before (check
http://svn.haxx.se/tsvn/archive-2005-07/0372.shtml) for details,
but obviously hasn't been acted on since. I have TSVN installed on five
different machines, three running Windows XP SP2 and one running Windows 2000.

The problem:

I am missing the "SVN Author" column in the detail view of the file explorer. I
can not find it in the list of columns available either, so there is no way to
add it. It just seems not to be exported by tortoisesvn.dll in *some* systems.

The interesting part is, while it is there in the Windows 2000 installation as
well as the XP installation on my laptop, it is absent in both desktop PCs
running XP.

Furthermore, a column named "SVN eol-style" is present in all installations
where "SVN Author" is missing and vice versa! This should point you somewhere,
hopefully...

So again, in short:

* The "SVN Author" field is missing in the columns of the detail view in windows
  explorer in SOME installations.
* The "SVN eol-style" field appears in installations where the "SVN Author"
field is missing and is absent in all installations having the "SVN Author"
  field.

Please direct all correspondence to my e-mail address directly, since I'm not
subscribed to the list.

Thanks a lot for your support, you're doing a great job with TSVN!

Michael
