Some (most?) of these options require a reload of the files when
they're changed. That's why they're in the settings dialog and not on
the toolbar. IMHO the toolbar/menu should only contain settings which
can be switched on/off on-the-fly without having to reload the files -
because reloading means you will loose all changes you've made.
