Glancing at my registry, this appears true for the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key (where 32 bit apps writing
to the Software key are redirected to the Wow6432Node
key under Software.

It does not appear to hold true for HKEY_CURRENT_USER,
however.

On the other hand, I don't think of the 32 bit and 64 bit
versions of the product as different products. I don't
want to have to configure everything twice, so I'm perfectly
happy with the way things are now.
