Re: BUG In with the "..." buttons?

Date: 2006-07-13 01:40:15 CEST As for the capital bug in the subject: a - it makes it clear what it is so people can at a glance ignore it or view it if they're interested. b - there's a question mark at the end of the subject meaning it's up for discussion. ie, I'm not sure if it is or not. c - Is there a general way I should be filling out the subject field for "possible" bug reports? cheers Mark --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe@tortoisesvn.tigris.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-help@tortoisesvn.tigris.org Received on Thu Jul 13 01:40:59 2006Mark Pickersgill wrote:I'm not sure if there's a good reason for this or not, but if a URL field is blank, the "..." button will not invoke the Repo-browser.There is a good reason: The repo browser is used to browse the contents of a repository - and it can only do so if it knows which repository to browse. There's no world-wide directory service for subversion epositories it could ask when no URL is given - you can't even ask a server hosting several repositories for a list of the repositories it hosts. Please think twice if you use "Bug" in the subject and at least trice if you intend to write it in capital letters.
