Data Execution Prevention crashes in explorer.exe after installing TortoiseSVN

Today I installed TortoiseSVN (the latest) for the first time. The machine is WinXP SP2 (home edition) with all microsoft updates applied (as of today).
 
When I browse into folders that are in SVN repositories explorer crashes, and sometimes a data execution prevention window comes up.
 
Has anyone seen explorer.exe / DEP crashes? What additional information do you need?
