That could be caused by virus scanners that access the files in .svn
directories at the same time. Try excluding .svn folders from your
virus scanner.

If you are checking out a unix based repository, there can be files
with identical names but mixed case (like foo.bar and FOO.bar) in the
same folder. These files cannot be checked out to a windows
environment (MS Windows is not case sensitive).
