Before I commit:

Should this bugfix be mentioned in Changelog.txt?
Pro: Documenting a change which changes the user behaviour (no more crash)
should be documented
Con: no-one else has noticed yet and filling up the Changelog.txt with "small"
corner case changes will make it easy to overlook the important changes.
Nevertheless, I would rather document it.

Should it be merged to the branch 1.3.x? Who does that?
I think it should be merged to 1.3.x. I need to know this before commiting on
trunk, so that I place the Changelog.txt entry either in 1.4.0 or 1.3.2
I don't mind who merges it to 1.3.x. Stefan, just tell me what you prefer.
