I have just tested this new feature, because it helps me very
much (it's the same like the question above). But if there exists
a newer version, the user is informed, that there exists a new
version on tigris.org, which already could be a second newer
version which is untested. example: V1 is installed, V2 is tested
an registered in version.txt and the newest version on tigris.org
is V3. then the user gets the message: V2 is available, please
download from tigris.org. But this is not desired. The user should
take V2.

Q: could someone extend this dialog, so the URL (at least, or
better the hole message) could be replaced with a configurable
string? We provide the newer versions via intranet and I would
like to give the right URL, so not all users have to download it
from tigris.org. Perhaps an other solution is possible...?

The main problem is, that the IT here has about 500 computers
to administer, but we are five which make developments (all others
are standard office users), so I am responsible for the specialities
for us, but I don't have more privileges than an ordinary user. So
it's nearly unpossible (mainly because of politics), that I could
solve the update problem via normal windows server features.

We also want to keep a certain version on a per user basis, because
"never touch a running system". So the users make the necessary
updates when they don't rely on a date to terminate a work.

thanks in advance
