Maybe a compromise:
"Are you sure you want to revert %d file(s)? You will lose <b>all</b> changes
since the last update!"
Since the number will be 1 in Jans example, the warning "You will lose
<b>all</b> changes since the last update!" does not sound that destructive
any more :-)
