Create patch file for newly added dirs/files (issue #175)

Hi,

I just changed some files in my repo and also added a new directory with
some files in it. Before committing it I wanted to create a patch file
of it to send to some other developer, but I noticed the resulting patch
file only includes diff info for the changed files, but doesn't include
diff info for the added directory and files.

I searched this mailing list and found out that this apparently is a
Subversion shortcoming ("The subversion libraries do not support
creation of patches which add folders (and files within added
folders)"). TSVN issue (#175) was opened for it in which it is suggested
to warn the user that those files and folders will not be included. The
issue is currently closed and says it should be implemented in rev.
4567. But I don't understand why I didn't receive any warning? I'm using
TSVN rev. 4786.

Greetings,

Leon Zandman
