Thanks for spotting. I adjusted the strings in the docs.

While I was on the way I also made most of the hint texts in the German GUI
translation consistent and tried to get rid of diff/merge altogether

Concerning the UTF-8 characters in TMerge, I think that issue has come up
before and Steve's reply was that he couldn't test it properly with Asian
character sets.
