RE: German Language Pack 1.3: Check for modifications

Thanks. I didn't download the LanguagePack yet, but I had a look at
the revision in TMerge.

You changed "Prüfe auf Aktualisierungen" to "Prüfe auf Änderungen".
The former translation was "Auf Änderungen prüfen", so you either
have to change the translation again or change the German docs
accordingly. I personally do not prefer one term over the other.

The second thing I noticed while looking at that revision is that
TMerge doesn't display the German umlauts correctly. The .po-files
seem to be in DBCS while TMerge interprets them as plain 8Bit
ASCII.

I'm not sure whether this is related to the .po file format not
being recognisable as Unicode (no BOM?) or a general problem with
Unicode files. If it's the latter, then I guess our chinese and
japanese friends would welcome a fix.
