bug: spelling corrections are inserted at the beginning of message instead of replacing misspelled word

To reproduce:

* Initiate commit to get "log message" window.
* Enter some text, where the second word has a typo.
* The spelling checker marks the spelling mistake and allows choosing
the correct spelling of the work using right-click and the corrections
sub-menu.
* Choose the spelling correction - the text is put at the beginning of
the message text box instead of the replacing the misspelled word.
