VPN / Tortoiseplink/Putty conflict

Hi all,

here's a weird one for you:

I work on a XP Pro laptop, connect to my linux svn repo just fine.

BUT: when I connect to my office via the Cisco VPN client, a full repo checkout will always fail halfway through.

The symptom is a hung Tortoise Window (wher eyou see the checked out files scroll through), with the svnserve process on the linux site still up.

Clicking "cancel" doesn't fully work": I have to click cancel AND click the close button (opt right) in the dialog. Only then will the Plink process die, and disconnect from the linux box (and end the svnserve process).

Where does TortoisePlink log to? Can't find any data as to exactly HOW the fact that I am connected via VPN conflicts with the SVN connection - but it does.

Closing the VPN connection, and trying again yields a checkout of the entire repo...

Let me know what else I can provide...
