You're always replying to a thread which has nothing to do anymore with
neither rev 4918 nor with 'icon updating looking good'!

Please, if you find something new, start a new thread.

You should know by now that if the cache uses > 90% CPU for more than a
really short time, it's broken and you should kill the process.

That's because if you commit, the file you commit doesn't change at all.
Only the BASE content of that file changes (and that's inside the .svn
folder). So the explorer ignores change notifications for such files,
because it knows that the file didn't change.
