disconnected tsvn

I was trying to diagnose a problem encountered while using svn and tsvn.
I was getting a lot of nonsensical error messages from subversion while
using TSVN, like "an invalid argument was supplied." As it turned out,
the problem was that the network connection was insane, tsvn wasn't able
to talk to svn at all. I'm wondering if we could get an error message
stating, "tsvn unable to connect to host"?

While working on this, tho, I began to wonder: how do I configure TSVN
so that it displays the svn commands that TSVN sends to the host?

tnx,
