Thanks a lot! You can now go to
http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/servlets/MailingListEdit?list=users
and add "allowed posters" to the list, which will then allow users you
approve to post without being subscribed (some users read the list via
newsreaders or through the archives).

One other thing: where are you located? Just so we can look for more
moderators from different time zones...
