sorry, I got too much work during the next four weeks to read all of the
post.

IMO, your idea is good and has potential but needs a lot more coding than
the comboBox does.

Just one thought: How's about replacing the attached menu with a enhanced,
editeable listbox with an additional context menu? It could provide the
same func. as the attached menu does but also offers a chance to
edit/update/delete the texts in history.
