Great! Thank you very much! Can't wait for the next official release so
the others in my team can use this functionality (we are officially not
allowed to work with 'unstable' versions and have to justify and record
every version bump).

One question though: Did you change your mind about deleted files or did
you implement a switch for this which successfully hided from my
searching? Appearantly without any configuration by myself, upon commit
deleted files are _shown_ but are not selected for removal, this is the
best solution imho, even though added and deleted files are not treated
the same ;-). Since you wrote that a lot of people rely on this former
automatism, I hope they don't get confused if this behavior changes now.

Once again: Thank you and sorry for some 'hard words' on the topic.
