- what repo access do you use (http/https/svn/svn+ssh/...)
- where is your repository located
- *what* error do you get? 'an error' isn't useful at all - or does
your store ask you for "some money" instead of a definite amount of
money for what you buy?

Some more things to consider:
TSVN can't 'set' the password beforehand. It asks you for it when the
server does. If the server doesn't ask for authentication, then TSVN
doesn't ask you either.
So: if you don't get asked for it, then there's a misconfiguration on
the server.
