Have exactly the same scenario and using tweakui on a daily basis is
getting annoying. How about icon corruption detection? Just a thought...
if you can draw the "corrupted" one somewhere in some dc for example or
take it from explorer window or some listview (I have no idea how much
access does the shell extensions have) and then compare with the source?
If different - force a rebuild?
