I really must put this in the FAQ. No, there are no plans to add text
editing to TMerge. There is already more than enough work maintaining
the core functionality of TSVN, and adding edit facilities to TMerge
would make a huge increase in workload.

There are several recommendations for 3rd party diff/merge tools in our
docs, one of them being WinMerge.
