[TSVN] Small Glitch? Context menu 'SVN Check Out' absent when required by context

I was planning on temporarily changing the context menu polling option on this one, but that didn't work (as this particular menu item is not affected by this setting). I am using the 'TortoiseSVN-1.2.2.4299-VS.NET-ASP.NET-svn-1.2.3' win32 distribution, BTW.
 
Symptoms:
 
'SVN Check Out' context menu item is absent when operating on or within a folder that is already checked out, even though there are subprojects in the repository below that folder that are not yet checked out.
 
Presumably, this quirk is caused by the discontinuity of having a 'root' folder in the repository which does not exist in the working copy folder structure, when the parent folders for a collection of projects must also be checked out because they contain files. I would also suspect that for the most part the issue is only encountered when building a working copy from scratch.
