This is basically what Camtasia does and sounds similar to your
Macromedia suggestion.
I'll try to record a rough demonstration of concept video this weekend
and put a link to it up here so people can get an idea of what I am
talking about.

I don't know about video, but for those occasions where a moving mouse
cursor is worth a thousand words, it's possible to use a trial
Macromedia product to create a tutorial shockwave flash movie. I don't
remember the title of the product, though - follow up to Robo-something.

  Of course, one would have to re-do the tutorials any time a form
changed, ideally.
