I too got the error when upgrading but everything went smoothly
regardless. Explorer seems much more responsive now... even on large
WCs, it may take a bit to draw the icons but Explorer doesn't hang as long.

And it also seems that all the "weirdness" associated with the cache
process is now gone, such as icons jumping around, folder icons in the
left pane not updating, losing the selection after clicking an item,
inability to rename a new folder, etc. Great job!
