If I would know! I don't know what our student has done and he can't remember...
But I've also discovered that a file I have renamed using TSVNs rename command has still got a lock on it, too.
I locked "manual.TXT", renamed it to "manual.TEX", commited the change, done. svnadmin says that I've still got a lock on "manual.TXT".
