In some cases I find the tooltips a distraction. For example,
on any dialog where working copy files are listed ("Commit",
"Check for mods", "Revert", etc.) the tooltip displays each
file's absolute path. If I'm trying to scan the list to pick
out individual files for the operation, I have to constantly
move my mouse off the dialog so the tooltip will go away and
reveal the next file. If you have a long list of files, only
some of which are being committed, this can be very tedious.

Maybe a better solution would be to eliminate this particular
tooltip? The base working path is already displayed in the
dialog title so its easy to discern the absolute path.
