I won't be changing the mechanism - it'll still be a Windows Installer
MSI package. WiX is simply a way of making such packages
(http://wix.sourceforge.net/ for more details).

My tasks revolve around both refactoring the WiX source, and tweaking
the UI of the wizard. You will still be able to do an automated install
by calling msiexec with the appropriate switches, and an
admin-push-install too. But it's my understanding that those are
possible in the present incarnation.
