[TSVN] Adding branch off Trunk results in unwanted "trunk/ " in branch path.

I have been attempting to set up new repositories for vendor code.
So, the first repository is TMS comprising
TMS/Trunk/
TMS/VendorDrops/

TMS/Trunk contains 400+ files and a directory "Planner".
I attempt to copy the 400+ files and the directory "Planner" to the
VendorDrops directory using SVN Branch.

Right click in the whitespace in Explorer view of TMS\Trunk directory
and select Branch.
From WC at URL: is ".../svn/TMS/Trunk"
To URL is set to" .../svn/TMS/VendorDrops"
The resultant path however includes "Trunk/" as shown in the last lines
after executing SVN Update.

Added: E:\Delphi\VendorCode\TMS\VendorDrops\Trunk\treelist.pas
Added: E:\Delphi\VendorCode\TMS\VendorDrops\Trunk\htmhireg.dcr
Completed: At revision: 2

I'm certain this process was working satisfactorily some weeks back when
I last created a branch.

Using
TortoiseSVN 1.2.0, Build 3536 on Win2000
Subversion 1.2.0, on remote NT4.0

Peter
