I think also a RC would be good...

...because I only download the nightly build if there is something fixed
that is important for me or it has a new feature. Other people might do
it the same way and you can't be sure that this or that feature is
really tested on all different systems.
But everybody would download a RC build because it is special. It would
comission all testers to test this build as much as possible.
