In TSVN settings you can change the default Diff tool to be open office
writer, or in advanced diff settings you can specify a specialist diff
tool based on the file extension, so the Diff tool for .doc (or
whatever) files could be open office writer. When you ask TSVN to
examine differences it will get whichever revisions are needed and pass
them on.
