The person working on it is Fernando P. Nájera Cano. He is also
maintaining the spanish gui translation. I'm sure he'll help you.

There is already a partly translated es.po inside doc/po. You can
continue from there, but make sure you synchronize yourself with
Fernando that each of you translates different chapters.
